Alicia and I checked out the Winnemucca movie theatre (notice I said "the" and not "a") last night. Besides the fact they don't take debit cards and only let you buy tickets 20 minutes before the movie, the theatre wasn't that bad.
As for Casino Royale, the first half was great, the second half was terrible. I mean awful. But it was worth it because the first half was so cool. We like the new Bond, except for the fact that he walks like Derek Zoolander. He's tough, though. And there wasn't as many naughty scenes as most Bond movies. And the movie was a lot more realistic than recent retarted Bond movies, like the last one where Pierce Brosnan surfed into North Korea and drove an invisible car.
But seriously, did the directors sit down and watch Poker on ESPN2 and decide "you know what would be cool? Making a movie that has an hours worth of Bond playing Poker!" And to make things worse, Bond gets whipped over some random British chick halfway through the movie. By the end of the movie, I didn't know if I was watching Bond or The Notebook. ("I love you...No, I love you more...No I love you more than more...Let's sail around the world and be in love!..."). What was up with that?
